Working with FIBER on the promotional and communication side of the 2024 festival edition, such as community management, photo/videography, and event reporting.
I was very glad to be part of Salwa Foundation's first residency exhibition and to have met their welcoming and diverse team.
Initially starting with an internship and working full-time afterwards, Dutch Review brought me closer to the sphere of digital marketing, online journalism, and, most of course, Dutch culture. I wrote daily news, cultural pieces, and weekly newsletters. I learned how to write clearly and adhere to certain writing style guides. Additionally, I became more familiar with SEO writing techniques, sponsored articles, and affiliate material.
My first step into the world of digital journalism: my internship at Dutch Review in the lovely city of Leiden. I became acquainted with the digital media landscape, developed an eye for resourceful news, and was able to collaborate with other companies while doing so.
My three-year study in Media and Information at the faculty of Humanities. I also completed a minor in Sociology (Social Sciences department) in my final year. My graduating thesis focused on web shops as consumer-exploiting platforms by using interface and tracking strategies.
